Responsibilities
- Independently performs calculations and supports the development of mechanical designs
- Leads small-to-medium scale projects
- Develop engineering deliverables and conduct site visits for inspections
- Supports project coordination across multiple active engagements
- Contributes to the preparation of project documentation and technical report development
- Identifies and pursues new business opportunities
- Manages client communications including regular updates
Requirements
- 4+ years of related experience, though less may be considered
- A degree in electrical engineering is required
- Registered with PEO, and holds a Professional Engineering License (P.Eng), or equivalent in Canada
- Engineering trainee may be considered
- Knowledge of industry best practices, codes, and regulations is required
- Familiarity with Autodesk drafting and design software tools
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites applications
- Intermediate project management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high quality work
- Valid Drivers License required
- Valid Passport required, with the ability to travel in North America.
