About the role

Responsibilities
- Design building electrical plans and specifications, including electrical distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and other related systems.
- Perform the technical calculations and analyses required for project design.
- Participate in specialized studies, technical assessments, and professional reports.
- Conduct technical surveys and inspections of existing buildings.
- Monitor construction activities on site and contribute to resolving technical issues.
- Collaborate with mechanical, structural, and architectural teams to ensure systems integration.
- Advise clients and recommend solutions tailored to their challenges and objectives.
- Participate in coordination with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with project quality standards, schedules, and budgets.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and the development of the team’s expertise.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, building engineering, or a relevant discipline.
- Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in building electrical engineering, ideally in consulting engineering.
- Excellent spoken and written French.
