Responsibilities
Translate high-level strategic initiatives and stakeholder needs into clear, actionable work for delivery teams
Gain project understanding from the Director and leadership meetings and flesh out details
Conduct stakeholder interviews to uncover granular requirements
Transform vague requests into specifications covering source systems, definition of done, stakeholder sign-off, and priority tier
Use Claude, ChatGPT, Genie Code, and other AI tools to analyze Slack and email threads, draft requirements, explore data, and generate ticket structures
Translate business language into technical requirements for delivery teams
Ideate high-level solution approaches with the Director
Create structured epics and Jira tickets with clear acceptance criteria
Prioritize and plan work with Data Platform and Data Services managers
Contribute to quarterly planning with team managers and the Director
Create a single intake front door for RevOps, Finance, Enterprise, and Product requests
Understand Enterprise teams’ data needs and represent Enterprise voices in technical decisions
Maintain Confluence documentation of design decisions, findings, and finalized definitions
Pursue stakeholder sign-offs
Coordinate cross-team handoffs between Data Services and Data Platform
Query and explore the data catalog in Databricks notebooks
Use Genie Code for AI-assisted data discovery
Schedule and coordinate stakeholder meetings
Manage documents through OneDrive and SharePoint
Create presentations for leadership
Build Excel models and translate spreadsheet logic into data requirements
Explore and reference data from systems such as Salesforce
Requirements
5–7 years as a Business Analyst, Technical BA, or similar role
Experience working with technical teams, including data, engineering, or platform teams
Track record of translating business needs into technical requirements
Experience with data platforms, BI tools, or analytics environments
Understanding of software development and data development concepts at enterprise scale
AI/LLM tool proficiency
Database experience and willingness to learn Databricks; prior Databricks experience is not required
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 Suite
Advanced Excel skills, including building models and using formulas
Experience creating well-structured Jira epics and tickets
Familiarity with diagramming tools such as Miro, Lucid, Gliffy, or Visio
Ability to navigate competing priorities across multiple business units
Requirements elicitation skills
Clear written documentation and verbal communication
Proactive self-direction and project coordination skills
