About the role

  • Sr. Product Manager focusing on AI security strategy and roadmap for BeyondTrust's Pathfinder platform. Collaborating with AI and cybersecurity teams to enhance the product offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product strategy, roadmap, and success metrics for BeyondTrust's AI security capabilities on Pathfinder platform
  • Serve as BeyondTrust's internal AI security subject matter expert, synthesizing Phantom Labs threat research, competitive intelligence, and analyst coverage into product decisions
  • Partner with the AI Coworker Security team to define, validate, and iterate on requirements for securing AI agents, MCP servers, and agentic orchestration frameworks
  • Maintain deep understanding of the agentic AI ecosystem including MCP protocol, multi-agent orchestration frameworks, LLM tool-calling, and prompt injection attack chains
  • Define and maintain BeyondTrust's framework for AI workload security distinguishing AI-assisted from AI-executed workflows
  • Conduct primary market research with CISOs, security architects, and IAM engineers through win/loss analysis, customer advisory boards, and analyst briefings
  • Drive BeyondTrust's design partner program for AI security capabilities, recruiting early customers and translating feedback into roadmap priorities
  • Perform competitive analysis across CyberArk, Delinea, Astrix, Entro, Oasis, Wiz, and emerging NHI and agentic security vendors
  • Coordinate AI-related product work across the BeyondTrust portfolio ensuring architectural consistency and eliminating duplication
  • Represent BeyondTrust's AI security vision with industry analysts, customer advisory boards, and security industry events
  • Work with Product Marketing and Solutions Engineering to develop positioning and launch plans for AI security capabilities
  • Support pre-sales engagements and respond to complex technical questions related to AI security architecture

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of proven product management experience in cybersecurity, identity security, cloud security, or closely related domain
  • Demonstrated technical understanding of AI and ML systems architecture, including how LLM agents, MCP servers, tool-calling, and RAG pipelines work
  • Proven ability to read and synthesize security research, including CVEs, exploit chains, threat intelligence reports, and security conference presentations
  • Working knowledge of identity security disciplines: PAM, IAM, secrets management, workload identity, NHI lifecycle management
  • Familiarity with the NHI threat surface, including service accounts, API keys, OAuth tokens, machine certificates, and agent session tokens
  • Experience defining product strategy in a fast-moving market category with limited prior precedent
  • Track record of collaborating with security research, engineering, and threat intelligence teams in a technical PM capacity
  • Excellent written and verbal communication able to engage CISOs, security architects, and developers at appropriate levels
  • Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies and delivering results in a fast-paced environment
  • Deep intellectual curiosity and habit of reading threat research and analyst reports
