About the role

Bilingual specialist coordinating prescription coverage and reimbursement cases for BioScript Solutions’ specialty-care programs. Managing insurers, healthcare providers, clinics, and pharmacy processes remotely across Canada.

Responsibilities

Manage assigned patient reimbursement projects and cases for the NavieGo branch
Act as the primary point of contact for assigned healthcare providers
Coordinate and manage all aspects required to obtain prescription drug coverage for patients
Coordinate cases with insurance companies, physicians’ offices, and healthcare professionals to maximize reimbursement solutions
Coordinate documents, submissions, and related paperwork for insurance companies and public/federal funding programs
Foster and build relationships with key clinics
Coordinate pharmacy processes after funding has been obtained
Acquire in-depth knowledge of public, private, and federal funding mechanisms
Collaborate with the dispensing BioScript Pharmacy pharmacist on overall patient case management

Bilingualism in English and French is required
Prior experience in a reimbursement role is a strong asset
Experience in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or insurance industry is an asset
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in customer/client service
Strong proficiency in Microsoft and Google applications, including Google Apps, Word, and Excel
Professional, courteous, and efficient telephone manner
Proven ability to organize time, set priorities, and multitask to meet competing deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Attention to detail
Ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently
Out-of-the-box thinking approach
Able to work rotating shifts Monday through Friday, covering 8 AM to 8 PM EST
