About the role
- Bilingual specialist coordinating prescription coverage and reimbursement cases for BioScript Solutions’ patient support programs. Managing insurers, healthcare providers, clinics, and pharmacy processes remotely across Canada.
Responsibilities
- Manage assigned patient reimbursement projects and cases for the NavieGo branch
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned healthcare providers
- Coordinate and manage all aspects required to obtain prescription drug coverage for patients
- Coordinate cases with insurance companies, physician offices, and healthcare professionals to maximize reimbursement solutions
- Coordinate documents, submissions, and related paperwork for insurance companies and public/federal funding programs
- Foster and build relationships with key clinics
- Coordinate required pharmacy processes once funding has been obtained
- Develop in-depth knowledge of public, private, and federal funding mechanisms
- Collaborate with the dispensing BioScript Pharmacy pharmacist on overall patient case management
Requirements
- Bilingualism in English and French is required
- Minimum of 2 years of customer/client service experience
- Prior reimbursement role experience is a strong asset
- Experience in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or insurance industry is an asset
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft and Google applications, including Google Apps, Word, and Excel
- Professional, courteous, and efficient telephone manner
- Ability to organize time, set priorities, and multitask to meet competing deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Attention to detail
- Ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently

- Ability to work rotating shifts Monday through Friday, covering 8 AM to 8 PM EST
