About the role

Bilingual Patient Reimbursement Specialist coordinating prescription coverage, insurance submissions, and patient cases. Supporting BioScript Solutions’ specialty-care programs and healthcare-provider relationships across Canada.

Responsibilities

Manage assigned projects or patient reimbursement and coordination cases for the NavieGo branch
Manage all aspects required to obtain prescription drug coverage for patients
Coordinate documents, submissions, and related paperwork with insurance companies and public/federal funding programs
Coordinate pharmacy processes after funding has been obtained
Develop in-depth knowledge of public, private, and federal funding mechanisms
Collaborate with dispensing BioScript Pharmacy pharmacists
Manage assigned patient cases overall
Act as the primary point of contact for assigned healthcare providers

Bilingualism in English and French is required for the role according to the French posting
Prior reimbursement experience is a strong asset
Experience in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or insurance industry is an asset
Minimum of 2 years of customer/client service experience
Strong proficiency in Microsoft and Google applications, including Google Apps, Word, and Excel
Professional, courteous, and efficient telephone manner
Proven ability to organize time, set priorities, and multitask to meet competing deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently

Ability to work rotating shifts Monday through Friday, covering 8 AM to 8 PM EST
