About the role

  • QA Analyst Intern executing testing on mobile and web apps for Blaise Transit’s on-demand transit platform. Collaborating with teams to ensure quality standards are met while onboarding for hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update test cases, test plans, and regression suites for upcoming releases
  • Execute manual and exploratory testing on our mobile and web apps to ensure new features and bug fixes meet quality standards
  • Collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers to understand requirements and identify potential issues early
  • Document, track, and verify defects using our ticket management system
  • Contribute to release readiness by validating builds and ensuring smooth deployment to production
  • Participate in team discussions, providing feedback on usability, performance, and overall product quality

Requirements

  • One or more previous experiences (professional or academic) involving software testing, QA, or debugging
  • Strong attention to detail and an analytical mindset for identifying issues and edge cases
  • Familiarity with testing concepts, tools, or frameworks (manual or automated)
  • Proficiency with Git and ticket management software such as Clickup (or similar tools like Jira, Asana, etc.)
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills to report findings effectively
  • Nice to have (but not required): Curiosity about product management and the software development lifecycle
  • Interest in test automation or scripting (JavaScript, Python, or similar)
  • Passion for public transit, urbanism, or sustainability.
