About the role
- Infrastructure Engineer designing, building, and maintaining IT systems for BMO. Ensures optimal performance and security of on-premises and cloud infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Designs, builds, deploys, evaluates and maintains existing and future IT infrastructure
- Ensures all IT systems function efficiently and seamlessly
- Administers automated workflow tools and middleware application servers
- Acts as the primary technical liaison between Infrastructure and other IT teams
- Diagnoses complex network, storage and server issues and implements corrective solutions
- Tracks vulnerabilities and applies remediations and patches
Requirements
- Typically between 5 - 7 years of relevant experience
- Post-secondary degree in related field of study or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Network routing, switching, and security
- Systems administration
- Cloud computing
- Cybersecurity and privacy concepts, principles and solutions
- IT automation – Digital First
- Building and managing relationships
