About the role

  • Product Designer applying environmental engineering expertise to C-MORE’s enterprise risk and compliance data products. Designing usable workflows and interfaces for complex environmental risk intelligence.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute environmental engineering expertise to product decisions, methodologies, and data models
  • Define product capabilities in the environmental and non-financial risk space and challenge assumptions
  • Design workflows, interfaces, and outputs that make complex environmental data understandable to non-technical decision-makers
  • Work directly with compliance, sustainability, risk, and senior-stakeholder clients to understand needs and validate thinking
  • Own client-facing work, including responding to questions, defending methodology, and following through on commitments
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, data scientists, and leadership
  • Test product assumptions and validate designs before and after implementation
  • Contribute to public R&D output through articles, methodology notes, and thought leadership
  • Monitor regulatory changes, scientific developments, and environmental and sustainability industry practices
  • Work in short agile cycles with frequent iteration and quick decisions

Requirements

  • Degree in environmental engineering or closely related discipline, including environmental science, sustainability engineering, or chemical engineering with an environmental focus
  • At least 5 years of professional experience
  • Professional experience working on environmental topics in consulting, industry, regulatory work, research, or product
  • Fluent written and verbal English
  • Comfort with ambiguity, limited resources, and moving quickly without complete information
  • Agile working style with short iterations and quick feedback loops
  • Client accountability and ability to follow through on commitments
  • Openness to writing R&D articles and public-facing technical content
  • Ability to work fully remotely and manage time and priorities independently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for explaining complex technical topics to non-technical readers
