- Forward Deployed Engineer designing and deploying production software for Cognizant's end clients. Building backend systems, cloud solutions, APIs, and integrations to solve complex business challenges.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or similar languages
- SQL experience
- Experience with REST APIs, microservices, data pipelines, and distributed systems
- Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience developing and deploying production applications
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and client-facing skills
- Ability to independently manage technical solutions from development through deployment
