About the role

  • Director advising Calix Product leaders on AI-enabled talent, culture, and organizational strategy. Driving workforce planning, transformation, and high-performing teams for broadband technology innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to senior Product leaders and align talent and culture strategies with business priorities
  • Influence executive decision-making on organizational design, workforce strategy, and capability building
  • Lead organizational design initiatives, role clarity, and operating model evolution
  • Drive strategic workforce planning, succession planning, and leadership capability development
  • Partner across Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Total Rewards, Talent Engagement, and People Operations to deliver an integrated talent strategy
  • Leverage AI-powered tools and analytics to identify trends in hiring, performance, retention, and engagement
  • Translate complex data into actionable insights and guide predictive leadership decision-making
  • Lead complex, large-scale change initiatives within the Products organization
  • Enable leaders to navigate transformation while maintaining a strong employee experience
  • Shape talent strategies that elevate performance, strengthen leadership capability, and accelerate growth
  • Coach senior leaders on performance, engagement, and team effectiveness
  • Champion a high-performance, inclusive, and transparent culture aligned with Calix values
  • Drive initiatives that enhance employee engagement and organizational health

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related field
  • 12+ years of progressive HR experience, including significant HR Business Partner leadership experience
  • 5+ years of experience partnering with Product, Engineering, or technical organizations in a high-tech, fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and operate as a strategic advisor
  • Deep expertise in organizational design, workforce planning, and talent strategy
  • Proven experience leveraging AI tools and platforms to transform the workforce
  • Experience interpreting data and analytics to drive workforce insights and data-informed decisions
  • Experience using AI to automate, scale, and transform HR processes
  • Strong business acumen connecting people strategy to business outcomes
  • Excellent executive communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
  • Preferred: experience in SaaS, cloud, or technology product environments
  • Preferred: experience leading transformation or operating model evolution at scale
  • Preferred: familiarity with advanced people analytics platforms and AI-enabled HR technologies
