About the role
- DevOps Engineer building and maintaining cloud infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD pipelines for Calliere's software platform. Operating containers, observability tooling, and production workloads across public clouds.
Responsibilities
- Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment using infrastructure-as-code and configuration-management tooling
- Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines
- Operate and administer containerized workloads using Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker
- Own projects end to end, from planning and design through execution and delivery
- Configure and tune monitoring, alerting, and dashboards
- Design and maintain cloud infrastructure across more than one public cloud
- Troubleshoot web servers, reverse proxies, DNS, container workloads, serverless functions, background job processing, relational and NoSQL databases, and caching layers
- Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation
Requirements
- A degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience
- 3+ years in a DevOps or closely related role
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Solid working knowledge of at least one major public cloud, ideally more than one
- A grasp of logging and metrics and how monitoring ties to the health and performance of an environment
- A track record of resolving complex production issues quickly
- Strong communication skills and comfort working across teams
- Scripting proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
