Part-time Shift Leader supervising Canna Cabana’s cannabis retail store operations in Red Deer. Supporting management, leading staff, serving customers, and achieving sales and inventory goals.
Responsibilities
Provide assistance to store management in supervising and facilitating daily store operations
Oversee Store Manager responsibilities in the absence of the SM or ASM
Assist with personnel management and resolve customer service issues
Provide direction, guidance, and instruction to store associates
Maintain store conditions according to established standards
Assist with staffing levels when requested
Lead sales and customer service in the absence of the SM/ASM
Greet and assist customers while modeling exemplary conduct
Ensure company policies and relevant legislation are upheld
Handle and escalate customer complaints as necessary
Ensure health, safety, and security regulations and standards are met on shift
Achieve sales targets and store-level KPIs
Ensure employees actively pursue sales goals
Oversee and assist with inventory management and shift inventory processes
Requirements
Valid SellSafe Certification is mandatory
Completion of high school and college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training required
Demonstrated sales and service orientation
Minimum 2 years of retail industry work experience required; cannabis industry preferred
Valid First Aid certification considered an asset
Excellent time management and prioritization skills
Ability to train and motivate staff
Ability to monitor and lead by example
Basic office administration skills
High proficiency with Microsoft Office productivity suite
Effective teamwork skills
