About the role

Software Development Team Lead overseeing technical project delivery at CapIntel, transforming product goals into reliable software. Focusing on team outcomes and technical leadership for impactful solutions.

Responsibilities

Co-own the delivery of key projects with the product and architecture teams from planning through release, ensuring clear scope, timelines, and success criteria.
Partner with the product manager to translate product and business goals into actionable roadmaps and plans, aligning on priorities and trade-offs
Track progress, manage risks and dependencies, and keep stakeholders aligned on status, decisions, and trade-offs.
Drive technical decision-making to support reliable, scalable, and maintainable delivery.
Foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment with a strong focus on outcomes and accountability.
Conduct regular 1:1s and coaching sessions to support team growth, performance, and engagement.
Contribute to code reviews, architecture discussions, and process improvements that accelerate delivery.
Work closely with the product team, design, and other groups to ensure we’re building the right things in the right order.
Continuously refine how the team works (planning, estimation, QA, release practices) to improve predictability and quality.

Proven experience in a technical leadership role leading a development team, and responsible for delivering projects end-to-end in co-ownership with a product team.
5+ years of experience as a full-stack developer.
Strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, and modern web development frameworks.
Ability to balance hands-on technical work with coordination, prioritization, and cross-functional communication.
Experience mentoring and guiding engineers, with a focus on both performance and outcomes.
Experience conducting code reviews, technical interviews, and performance evaluations.
Strong problem-solving skills, including managing production issues and implementing durable fixes.
Excellent communication skills, capable of aligning technical and non-technical stakeholders around plans and trade-offs.
