About the role
- ABAP/ODATA Developer designing, developing, and supporting SAP ABAP and OData solutions. Delivering S/4HANA customizations, integrations, and technical project support.
Responsibilities
- Design and code complex features
- Debug, unit test, build, configure, and deploy application software
- Take full responsibility for assigned objects and handle tasks independently
- Analyze, design, and recommend third-party tools and custom applications
- Analyze required functionality and implement platform customizations or custom solutions
- Collaborate with team members to understand business requirements and create technical specifications
- Provide estimations, status updates, and escalations to ensure timely solution delivery
- Support projects already gone live and develop new objects for ongoing projects
- Provide ongoing support to business and content teams managing sites on the strategic technology platform
- Provide technical oversight to project delivery team members
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Deep expertise in Object-Oriented ABAP, CDS views, SAP Data Dictionary, SQL tuning, and S/4HANA migrations
- Deep, hands-on experience with classic SAP Business Workflow
- Deep, hands-on experience with Adobe Forms development
- Strong knowledge of RAP and SAP Fiori/OData integration
- Familiarity with SAP BTP, PI, Solution Manager, and Agile/DevOps pipeline tools
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and experience implementing SAP solutions and systems required
- Minimum 3 full SAP Implementation project life cycle experience with solid demonstrated expertise in managing implementation projects of SAP technologies and SAP Development projects
- Good experience in SAP support project life cycle
- Experience in ABAP objects, OO Programming, Conversions, Enhancements, BADI, and Performance Tuning
- Strong experience in Gateway services and OData concepts
- Good experience in WebDynpro applications and Webservices
- Good experience in FPM reports
- Strong background in SAP Technical Development (ABAP) / ABAP for HANA
- Intermediate-high level English language communication is required
- Experience managing integration to and from SAP systems
- Experience with SAFe Agile or other Agile methodologies preferred
