Experienced Network Architect at Carbon60, leading end-to-end network solutions in cloud infrastructure. Partnering with teams to design scalable, secure architectures for customer deployments.
Responsibilities
Partner with delivery and operations teams to define the target network architecture and implementation approach for customer deployments, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and delivered on time.
Lead network solution design across the project lifecycle, producing high-level and low-level designs, defining requirements, and providing technical direction to ensure alignment with customer needs and internal standards.
Identify architectural risks, constraints, and dependencies (e.g., resiliency, latency, security, routing complexity), document design decisions and trade-offs, and escalate to stakeholders with mitigation options.
Develop and maintain network architecture artifacts (reference architectures, design standards, templates, and patterns) and publish them to internal knowledge repositories to enable consistent delivery and operations.
Provide design assurance by reviewing solution designs and implementation plans for architecture compliance, operational readiness, and security requirements prior to go-live.
Enable delivery and operations teams through architecture briefings, standards training, and design walkthroughs, accelerating adoption of new network capabilities and reducing operational risk.
Define and support the transition to operations model (monitoring, support processes, runbooks, and acceptance criteria) to ensure solutions are operable, maintainable, and aligned to service levels.
Act as the technical design authority, aligning stakeholders across delivery, security, operations, vendors, and customers to drive architecture decisions and resolve cross-domain dependencies.
Serve as an escalation point for architecture and design-related issues, leading root-cause analysis of systemic themes and driving corrective design changes and standards updates.
Own and evolve the target-state architecture for the company’s multi-tenant network platform, defining resiliency, scalability, performance, and security patterns and ensuring alignment with service objectives.
Define network architecture roadmaps aligned to business strategy and customer needs; evaluate technologies and vendors; and recommend improvements that advance platform capabilities and standardization.
Ensure all architectures and designs are clearly documented (HLD/LLD, diagrams, decision records) and that delivery and operations teams have the knowledge required to build and support the solutions.
Participate in ITSM and ISMS governance by defining and enforcing network architecture standards, contributing to risk assessments, and ensuring designs meet audit, policy, and control requirements.
Maintain expertise in modern networking and security architectures through continuous learning and industry engagement, and apply that knowledge to evolve internal standards, patterns, and practices.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives that increase reliability, reduce complexity and cost, and improve customer experience through architecture-led standardization and platform optimization.
