Responsibilities
Visualize human and creature characters in full photoreal style: anatomy, likeness, costume, gear, aging, damage, and material response to light
Produce turnarounds, expression sheets, lighting keys, and material swatches that are technically bulletproof for modelers and texture artists
Partner with the Art Director to establish silhouette language, color palettes, and cultural authenticity for multiple factions
Iterate rapidly in 2D to validate forms under real-world lighting
Requirements
4+ years in games, film, or VFX creating photoreal character concept art that has shipped
Portfolio demonstrating accurate facial likeness and emotional range
Deep knowledge of human & animal anatomy, proportion, and aging
Mastery of skin subsurface, fabric weave, metal reflectance, and weathering
Ability to match real-world camera lenses and lighting scenarios
Fluency in Photoshop
Excellent visual communication skills
Self-driven, critique-hungry, and able to thrive in a fully remote, timezone-distributed team
