About the role
- Manager of DevOps Engineering at Case IQ leading DevOps function to enhance software capabilities. Focused on modern strategy and hands-on guidance across product lines.
Responsibilities
- Define and evolve a DevOps Platform strategy that serves four product lines with shared, reusable capabilities
- Establish platform standards and golden paths for CI/CD pipelines and release orchestration
- Ensure the platform minimizes cognitive load for development teams while enabling autonomy
- Manage and develop 3+ full-time DevOps Engineers, emphasizing platform thinking and enablement behaviors
- Collaborate with QA and Test Automation to increase deployment frequency and pipeline reliability
- Drive adoption of shared platform capabilities and golden paths
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering
- 3+ years of experience managing or leading engineers
- Strong hands-on experience with modern cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Expertise in: CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.)
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi, etc.)
- Containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, etc.)
- Experience supporting multiple product teams or product lines
- Demonstrated success improving delivery speed and reliability through enablement, not centralization
