About the role

  • Intermediate UX Designer creating AI-assisted user experiences for Caseware’s cloud audit, reporting, and analytics software. Researching, prototyping, and evolving design systems for accounting professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Design user experiences for Caseware's cloud-based audit, financial reporting, and data analytics products
  • Use Figma Make, Claude Code, and Replit alongside traditional UX methods
  • Use AI tools to accelerate ideation, generate and pressure-test prototypes, and explore solution spaces
  • Critically evaluate and refine AI-generated design output for accessibility, usability, and intentional design
  • Conduct user research and usability testing and incorporate findings into iterative design cycles
  • Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define solutions and translate design artifacts into implementation
  • Help establish team practices for prompting, output review, and AI tool integration
  • Design cohesive auditor journeys incorporating AI and agentic capabilities
  • Maintain and evolve the design system and standards for evaluating AI-generated components
  • Participate in design critiques and stay current with UX, AI tooling, and accounting software

Requirements

  • Approximately 2 to 3 years of professional UX experience
  • Portfolio showing design work, problem-solving, and decision-making
  • Demonstrated experience using AI-assisted tools such as Figma Make, Claude Code, or Replit
  • Ability to prompt effectively, evaluate generated output, and refine it to meet design system and accessibility standards
  • Ability to contribute to team practices around AI tooling and development workflows
  • Proficiency with Figma and related design/prototyping platforms
  • Experience working within and contributing to a component-based design system
  • Experience planning and running user research and usability testing
  • Strong working knowledge of accessibility standards
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting design decisions to product managers, engineers, and stakeholders
  • Comfort with ambiguity and rapid iteration
  • Understanding of responsive design principles and experience designing across platforms
  • Understanding of responsible AI principles, including bias, transparency, and designing for trust
  • Knowledge of accounting, audit, or financial services industries is a bonus
  • Prior experience designing AI-powered or conversational product features is a bonus
