About the role
- Solutions Consultant guiding Canadian accounting firms through Caseware's audit and financial reporting software evaluations. Advising on migration, implementation, AI, and automation.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Account Managers and other Solution Consultants to help prospects and customers evaluate and plan implementation of Caseware products
- Lead presentations, trials, and pilots, sharing solution expertise and best practices
- Coordinate with technical or product subject-matter experts when appropriate
- Strategize with customers on migration and implementation journeys from existing accounting and audit tools
- Work with customers and Professional Services to establish direction and address key requirements
- Support customer evaluations and implementations by providing information on tools, processes, and resources
- Help ensure timelines and tasks remain on track
- Create and maintain product demonstration strategies, use cases, and value-driven assets
- Bridge customers and Product teams by translating customer feedback into actionable product insights
- Attend conferences and events, maintain customer relationships, and stay current with industry standards and trends
- Participate in speaking engagements and thought leadership events or publications
- Design and implement processes and systems supporting consistent, scalable services
- Assist with internal improvement plans that support future growth
- Serve as a trusted advisor to accounting firms and organizations navigating technology modernization
- Collaborate with account management, training, professional services, support, and product teams
Requirements
- At least 3 years’ experience preparing financial statements and/or performing Audit, Assurance, Review or Compilation engagements OR at least 3 years’ experience in a customer-facing role in a SaaS company serving the Accounting Profession
- Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
- Ability to understand and interpret stakeholder needs
- Understanding of, or strong interest in, AI-powered accounting solutions
- Ability to discuss how AI can be applied to modern accounting, audit, and advisory workflows
- Strong organization skills with experience tracking and managing multiple deliverables and tasks
- Resourceful self-starter with initiative and problem-solving skills
- Sound understanding of technology within the audit and accountancy sector, or enthusiasm to learn
- Direct experience utilizing CaseWare to create financial statements or perform engagements (preferred)
- CPA, Chartered Accountant or equivalent, with 3+ years Audit or Accounting experience (preferred)
- Experience leading technology adoption, training, methodology, or innovation efforts in an accounting firm (preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field (preferred)
- Experience and/or qualifications in project, product or program management (preferred)
- Practical experience utilizing AI tools, including for software development (preferred)
- Deep understanding of accounting, financial processes and technologies (preferred)
- Experience with CRM systems and tools for sales and lead management (preferred)
- Product, Product Marketing, Sales experience, or experience working closely with those functional teams (preferred)
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software, e.g. Salesforce (preferred)
- Experience documenting internal processes and identifying/implementing efficiency or quality improvements (preferred)
- Must reside in and be eligible to work in Canada
- Availability to accommodate meetings across Eastern Time to Pacific Time business hours, with notice
