About the role

Senior iOS Developer for Radio-Canada's OTT team (French services). Remote/hybrid role focused on high-performance mobile, tablet, and TV media applications.

Responsibilities

Design and/or modify reusable components for Radio-Canada's digital platforms, such as the audio/video player.
Ensure compliance with standards and maintain product quality throughout the project lifecycle.
Stay up to date with new trends across digital development.
Proactively propose solutions to challenges encountered.
Participate in Agile Scrum activities to review ongoing production projects to make necessary corrections and adjustments, and to review completed projects to assess results.
Contribute to the development of user stories for our various products.
Ensure the performance of developed applications to handle high loads.
Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and application deployments.
Take part in code reviews and solution rollouts.

University degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum 3 years of experience in software development.
Experience building complex, high-performance mobile applications.
Proficiency with Xcode, Git, and the Swift language.
Experience developing an app published on the App Store.
Experience working with code reviews (pull requests).
Knowledge of architectural patterns (such as MVC, MVP, or MVVM).
Knowledge of SOLID principles is an asset.
Ability to read, produce, and follow software architecture diagrams (UML, sequence diagrams, etc.).
Interest in working on an application available across multiple form factors (mobile/tablet/TV).
Familiarity with SwiftUI and Combine.
Knowledge of AVPlayer, Core Data, and Alamofire is an asset.
Experience with CocoaPods (including designing/maintaining internal pods).
Knowledge of web audio-video broadcasting (streaming) is an asset.
Knowledge of other programming languages is an asset.
Knowledge of design patterns is an asset.
