About the role

  • Area Director overseeing newly acquired healthcare clinics across Ontario and Atlantic Canada for CBI Health. Driving integration, operational performance, clinical quality, profitability, and growth.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee operations and drive growth for newly acquired clinics across Ontario and Atlantic Canada
  • Support and lead prior owners and/or clinic leaders at newly acquired clinics
  • Build and motivate high-performing teams and foster a values-driven culture
  • Ensure team members understand accountabilities and perform to expectations
  • Ensure staffing resources meet organizational and clinic requirements
  • Lead regional hiring efforts and foster recognition and engagement
  • Support performance management and compensation practices with the National Director, Clinic Partnerships
  • Maintain on-site presence at each clinic at least once per quarter
  • Strengthen integration and partnership processes for newly acquired clinics
  • Build relationships with business partners and stakeholders
  • Liaise with Operations, HR, IT, Marketing, Finance, Clinical Excellence, Quality, and Risk teams
  • Share best practices and participate in provincial or national Clinic Partnerships initiatives
  • Oversee local risk and quality management and ensure regulatory and contractual compliance
  • Identify opportunities for innovation, growth, and operational improvement
  • Drive accountability for operational, quality, and financial results, including revenue, gross margin, and EBITDA
  • Improve service delivery models, systems, processes, and client experience
  • Collaborate on annual regional planning and align with CBI Health’s strategic vision
  • Monitor clinical and financial KPIs and implement corrective action plans
  • Ensure contractual deliverables, performance measures, and accreditation standards are achieved and documented
  • Identify and refer potential acquisition opportunities to Corporate Development

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Health, Business or Health Administration (or equivalent work experience) preferred
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a general operational management role in a service-focused organization
  • Ideally, experience in a senior management role in a healthcare organization
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple operating units/sites
  • Ability to inspire and motivate teams, set clear goals and expectations, and hold staff accountable
  • Strategic thinking and decision-making aligned with organizational goals
  • Excellent communication with staff, corporate management, and stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Decisiveness and ownership of decisions
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to change and unexpected situations
  • Effective time management and ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Strong relationship-building skills with staff, patients, and stakeholders
  • Strong business acumen across financial and clinical aspects of clinics
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build trust and motivate others
