About the role

  • VP of Finance leading accounting, treasury, reporting, and finance transformation for Centricity Research’s US and Canadian clinical research network. Supporting acquisitions, refinancing, and scalable growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the Accounting Manager and finance team
  • Oversee accounting operations, month-end and year-end close, consolidated financial reporting, general ledger integrity, and US GAAP compliance
  • Ensure accurate, timely, and reliable financial reporting with strong internal controls and financial governance
  • Lead treasury operations, cash management, banking relationships, payment controls, and liquidity management
  • Oversee external audits, tax compliance, financial statement preparation, and relationships with auditors, banking partners, and external advisors
  • Partner with the Senior Director of FP&A and executive leadership on accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and business planning
  • Provide financial leadership to cross-functional leaders
  • Prepare and present financial results, board materials, and reporting packages to executive leadership, the Board, and private equity sponsor
  • Drive finance transformation through process improvement, workflow automation, AI, and emerging technologies
  • Lead finance workstreams for acquisitions, including accounting due diligence and post-acquisition financial integration
  • Manage finance activities related to debt refinancing, lender due diligence, financial reporting, covenant compliance, and banking coordination
  • Build relationships with banking partners, lenders, auditors, and external advisors
  • Ensure finance operations, systems, and controls scale with organizational growth and acquisitions
  • Advise executive leadership on financial and operational matters

Requirements

  • CPA designation required
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
  • 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
  • Leadership responsibility within a multi-entity or multi-site organization
  • Experience leading accounting operations, financial reporting, treasury, audits, tax compliance, and internal controls
  • Strong technical accounting expertise and deep understanding of US GAAP
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing accounting teams through managers
  • Experience supporting debt refinancing activities, lender reporting, banking relationships, or other corporate financing initiatives
  • Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite
  • Experience implementing automation, AI, or other emerging technologies to improve finance operations and team productivity
  • Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence and post-acquisition financial integration
  • Experience in private equity-backed organizations, healthcare, clinical research, professional services, or other complex multi-site environments highly preferred
  • Collaborative, strategic leadership style with ability to balance hands-on financial oversight with executive-level thinking and business partnership
