About the role
- Bilingual contact-centre agent serving CIBC clients with banking support and product guidance. Resolving requests remotely while attending Montreal’s CIBC Tower occasionally.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for clients calling with banking questions or requests
- Manage client accounts and products and provide support
- Deliver personalized, client-focused interactions and trusted advice
- Listen to client needs, resolve problems, and recommend appropriate solutions
- Complete client requests efficiently using CIBC systems and product knowledge
- Identify opportunities to connect clients with relevant banking products, solutions, and internal contacts
- Leverage knowledge of CIBC’s product suite and internal departments to address additional client needs
Requirements
- Fluent in French and English to support business operations outside of Quebec, Canada
- Flexible to work Monday to Sunday between 7:00 am and midnight, including evenings and weekends
- Reside within a 2-hour radius of the CIBC Tower in Downtown Montreal (1155, Boulevard René-Lévesque Ouest)
- Ability to work independently from home with a secure workspace in a room or office with a closing door
- Wired internet connection with minimum download speed of 15 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps
- Satellite internet providers are prohibited
- Legally eligible to work at the specified location and, where applicable, hold a valid work or study permit
- May be required to complete an attribute-based assessment and other skills tests, including French proficiency testing
