About the role
- Data Analyst developing AI-powered analytics, BigQuery models, and Tableau dashboards for Cogeco's North American telecom customers. Enabling self-service insights across marketing and operations.
Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted data advisor to internal squads, answering complex business questions regarding subscriber growth, churn, revenue assurance, and operational efficiency
- Deliver strategic deep-dives and executive summaries, robust performance dashboards, certified governed datasets, and Agentic AI solutions
- Analyze telecom data related to ARPU, CAC, LTV, network utilization, and cross-border market dynamics
- Design, test, and deploy AI agents and LLM-powered tools interfacing with the data layer
- Build and optimize scalable data models for Tableau dashboards and AI/LLM interfaces
- Write complex, optimized SQL queries in Google BigQuery to extract, transform, and analyze large telecom datasets
- Design and maintain intuitive, high-performance Tableau dashboards
- Participate in cross-functional agile squads, including sprints, stand-ups, and backlog grooming, under BI Chapter Leads
Requirements
- Advanced proficiency in Google BigQuery or similar cloud data warehouses
- Strong portfolio of building actionable dashboards in Tableau
- Familiarity with prompt engineering, LLM APIs, or AI agent frameworks such as LangChain
- Python skills are a major asset
- Solid understanding of star schemas and data warehousing concepts
- 3–5+ years in a Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Data Product role
- Telecom or subscription-based industry experience highly preferred
- Proven experience working inside agile squads and managing an analytical-request backlog
- Exceptional communication skills translating technical data concepts into business recommendations
- Bilingualism in English and French is a strong asset
- Ability to support North American stakeholders
