Responsibilities
Manage multi-year projects that may simultaneously involve up to 7 production plants and 64 field operations sites
Execute project plans and ensure scope, schedule, and budget objectives are met
Provide expertise regarding equipment, machinery usage, water treatment operations, syrup production, etc., to ensure operational efficiency in production facilities
Define equipment specifications and communicate them to manufacturers
Manage the process of adding suppliers to the approved vendor list
Participate in bid evaluation and supplier selection
Develop a multi-year capital asset plan for all production plants and field operations sites, in collaboration with other project managers and with support from the Director of Engineering
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline is an asset
At least six (6) to eight (8) years of experience as a plant manager or operations director in the soft drinks/beverage industry
At least eight (8) years of operations or maintenance experience if no university degree has been obtained
Technical expertise related to facilities, processes, and/or machinery used in the beverage industry
Excellent oral and written communication skills in both French and English
Strong presentation skills and the ability to clearly express ideas, opinions, and technical information during presentations
Strong organizational skills and good analytical abilities
Experience with various software applications, including ERP systems (SAP) and the Microsoft Office suite
