About the role
- Project Manager for mechanical engineering managing multi-year projects for Coke Canada's production plants. Overseeing technical specifications and supplier evaluations with additional responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Manage multi-year projects for up to five production plants.
- Execute project plans and ensure scope, schedule, and budget objectives are met.
- Provide expertise on equipment, machinery operation, water treatment processes, syrup production, and related areas to ensure efficient operations at production facilities.
- Define equipment specifications and communicate them to manufacturers.
- Manage the process of adding suppliers to the approved vendor list.
- Participate in bid evaluations and supplier selection.
- Develop a multi-year capital plan for all production plants and field operations sites.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline is an asset.
- At least six (6) to eight (8) years of experience as a plant manager or operations director in the carbonated soft drinks industry.
- At least eight (8) years of operations or maintenance experience if no university degree is held.
- Technical expertise related to facilities, processes, and/or machinery used in the beverage industry.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in both French and English.
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to clearly convey ideas, opinions, and technical information during presentations and technical briefings.
- Strong organizational skills and good analytical ability.
- Experience with various software applications, including enterprise resource planning systems (SAP) and the Microsoft Office suite.
