About the role

  • Associate Relationship Manager supporting client and shareholder administration at Computershare, a global financial administration and transfer agency leader. Coordinating meetings, transfers, reporting, reconciliations and client requests.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to Relationship Managers by assisting with client requests
  • Communicate with corporate clients and their counsel regarding shareholder mailings, shareholder meetings, dividends, treasuries, capital reconciliations, billing, audit confirmations and monthly reporting
  • Work independently and with the Relationship Manager to deliver accurate and responsive client services related to shareholder meetings, share issuances, reporting and shareholders
  • Work with clients and internal resources on intervention and escalated items to ensure prompt resolution
  • Support shareholder meetings, including coordinating proxy activities, ordering lists, labels and journals, and attending meetings as scrutineer/co-scrutineer
  • Review shareholder, participant and Financial Institution documents for compliance and completeness
  • Assist issuers with special projects, expediting transfers, troubleshooting, problem solving and servicing shareholder accounts
  • Manage and maintain client accounts, including paperwork for reinvestments, withdrawals, transfers, sales and estates
  • Maintain relationships with key client personnel to ensure satisfaction and retention
  • Create and reconcile regular and ad-hoc reports
  • Provide support within the Client Services team as needed

Requirements

  • 2 years administrative experience; Legal, Financial or Securities industry preferred
  • Client-facing experience with businesses, executives and/or legal counsel
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree
  • Intermediate working knowledge of MS Office suite
  • Ability to multitask and complete tasks within deadlines
  • Ability to prioritize conflicting duties
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong mathematical and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills
