About the role
- Scrum Master leading Agile teams at GFT in Montreal. Facilitating collaboration, optimizing Agile practices, and removing obstacles for team success.
Responsibilities
- Act as a leader for the Scrum team and promote collaboration between developers, the Product Owner, and stakeholders;
- Plan, facilitate, and optimize Agile ceremonies: daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint review, retrospectives, refinement;
- Identify, communicate, and help remove impediments that hinder the team's progress;
- Promote Agile best practices and work on continuous process improvement;
- Facilitate communication with stakeholders to ensure a shared understanding of objectives and risks;
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience as a Scrum Master;
- Excellent understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban; SAFe is an asset);
- Demonstrated high level of English and French (both written and spoken);
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and facilitate decision-making;
- Strong communication, ability to simplify complex concepts, and facilitation skills;
- Positive leadership and the ability to inspire the team;
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to manage organizational challenges (technical, political, or human);
- Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I/II, etc.) (asset);
- Experience in the insurance/banking sector (asset).
