About the role
- SAT Prep Instructor teaching digital SAT Reading, Writing, and Math for Crimson Global Academy’s fully online school. Preparing high-achieving students through live lessons and practice assessments.
Responsibilities
- Plan and teach six live, 2-hour online sessions covering all sections of the digital SAT
- Teach test-taking strategies, pacing, and time management specific to the adaptive digital format
- Assign and review practice questions and full-length practice tests between sessions
- Track student progress and adjust instruction based on practice test results
- Provide clear, actionable feedback to help each student improve
- Communicate regularly with the CGA counseling team on student attendance and progress
- Create a supportive, motivating virtual classroom for students in multiple time zones
Requirements
- Proven experience teaching or tutoring the SAT, with demonstrated score improvement results
- Strong command of the current digital SAT format, content, and scoring
- Experience working with high-achieving students applying to competitive universities worldwide
- Comfort teaching in an online environment (Zoom or similar platforms)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Teaching certification or a high personal SAT score preferred
- Availability for one 2-hour session per week for 6 weeks, beginning January 21, 2027
