About the role

  • LabWare Developer implementing and customizing LabWare LIMS solutions for CSols, a North American laboratory informatics consultancy. Integrating laboratory modules, instruments, workflows, and reporting features remotely.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical implementation, customization, and enhancement of LabWare LIMS
  • Collaborate with client subject matter experts, business analysts, and project managers to translate laboratory requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Implement LabWare LIMS modules including ELN, Charge Manager, Enhanced Visual Workflows, and Plate Manager
  • Build, code, unit test, and deploy LabWare LIMS functional solutions using SDLC methodologies and recognized programming standards
  • Configure and support instrument interfaces for automated and reliable data capture
  • Develop prototypes for business review
  • Deliver custom analysis and reporting features with cross-functional client teams
  • Diagnose root causes of process failures and debug technical errors
  • Optimize existing LIMS configurations and implement process improvements
  • Participate in technical reviews and project meetings
  • Manage competing priorities autonomously in a remote environment

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on technical experience with LabWare LIMS v7 and v8
  • Deep expertise in LabWare Industry Template Solutions, such as Pharma Template and Public Health
  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field, Information Systems, or equivalent practical industry experience
  • Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies
  • Experience with instrument interfacing
  • Experience with ELN integrations; ELN v3 is a plus
  • Strong analytical problem-solving abilities
  • High self-motivation for remote and independent work
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed for client-facing engagements
