About the role

  • Desjardins IT analyst designing, testing, and maintaining systems, infrastructure, networks, and database solutions. Coordinating technology projects and optimizing policies, standards, and applications.

Responsibilities

  • Support IT efficiency through the design, configuration, administration, maintenance and upgrading of business solutions, computer networks, management systems, programs and database servers
  • Analyze and diagnose complex issues related to IT rollouts or upgrades in line with business needs and selected solution modules
  • Respond to moderately and highly complex development and correction requests
  • Provide opinions and recommend solutions to improve and optimize standards, policies and programs
  • Propose implementation plans
  • Coordinate the planning, design and execution of projects, initiatives and activities
  • Help solve complex problems using analytical skills and detailed knowledge of the line of business
  • Interact with stakeholders working in other technology fields
  • Serve as a resource person for the unit, clients and partners
  • Help clients define needs through detailed solution design
  • Identify, input, analyze and interpret functional requirements and data to support IT solution selection and application development
  • Develop functional testing strategies
  • Analyze risks; write reports and test cases; propose solutions and recommendations; advise on implementation
  • Prepare and recommend action plans to address issues
  • Help develop, implement and update management policies, practices and standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of four years of relevant experience
  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Knowledge of French is required
