About the role

  • Desjardins IT analyst designing, administering, and upgrading complex systems and infrastructure solutions. Advising clients, coordinating stakeholders, and leading implementation strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Define the implementation strategy
  • Coach the team on analyzing business solutions to speed up delivery
  • Help clients define their needs through detailed solution feasibility and design reflection
  • Define functional requirements to inform decisions on appropriate IT solutions
  • Develop complex execution strategies, determine scope, and write procedures and guidelines
  • Analyze risks
  • Write highly complex reports and test cases
  • Propose solutions and make recommendations
  • Serve as a specialist in implementing recommendations
  • Oversee implementation of action plans to address issues in accordance with rules and parameters
  • Design, configure, administer, maintain, and upgrade business solutions, computer networks, management systems, programs, and database servers
  • Analyze and diagnose issues related to large-scale IT rollouts or upgrades
  • Respond to large-scale, highly complex development and correction requests
  • Recommend solutions to improve and optimize standards, policies, and programs
  • Recommend implementation plans
  • Direct and guide work to meet objectives
  • Coordinate with stakeholders across a wide range of fields
  • Lead and serve as a systems specialist for the unit, clients, and practitioners

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of six years of relevant experience
  • Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Knowledge of French is required
