About the role
- Desjardins Account Manager growing commercial and industrial client relationships. Selling financial products, developing strategic solutions, and managing risk and portfolio profitability.
Responsibilities
- Prospect, solicit, develop and maintain business relationships with major strategic commercial-sector clients
- Promote and sell Desjardins products and services to grow the business centre’s business
- Represent, negotiate and engage companies as part of strategic agreements
- Balance sales objectives, sound and prudent risk management, portfolio profitability, and member, client and partner satisfaction
- Act as an account manager and key intermediary between the business centre and members and clients
- Analyze client needs, develop personalized solutions, prepare integrated service offerings, and negotiate conditions
- Recommend strategies for business growth, risk management, portfolio profitability and stronger business relationships
- Identify business-development opportunities and execute promotional and public-relations activities
- Participate actively in the business community and refer clients to appropriate resources
- Ensure compliance with policies, standards and laws governing financial-product distribution
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of eight years of relevant experience
- Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Knowledge of French is required
