About the role

  • IT infrastructure advisor optimizing networks, systems and databases for Desjardins, North America's largest cooperative financial group. Coordinating complex IT solutions, rollouts and infrastructure improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose development teams’ issues, challenges and needs on medium- to high-complexity correction requests, IT services and the rollout and post-rollout phases to determine target outcomes
  • Develop and implement objectives, processes, methods, development tools, solutions and action plans
  • Coordinate the delivery of IT solutions
  • Analyze data, conduct studies, make recommendations and write reports
  • Design, configure, administer, maintain and upgrade computer networks, management systems and database servers
  • Advise and assist clients and partners on incident prevention, corrective action, IT infrastructure updates, rollout and post-rollout initiatives
  • Recommend solutions to improve or optimize standards, policies and programs
  • Prepare recommendations, solutions and action plans based on organizational objectives and priorities
  • Serve as subject matter expert for the unit, clients and partners
  • Coordinate with stakeholders working in other fields to support projects and initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of four years of relevant experience
  • Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Knowledge of French is required
  • Extensive knowledge of the relevant line of work
  • Analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems
  • Interpersonal savvy and ability to coordinate with stakeholders across fields
