About the role
- IT infrastructure advisor optimizing networks, systems and databases for Desjardins, North America's largest cooperative financial group. Coordinating complex IT solutions, rollouts and infrastructure improvements.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose development teams’ issues, challenges and needs on medium- to high-complexity correction requests, IT services and the rollout and post-rollout phases to determine target outcomes
- Develop and implement objectives, processes, methods, development tools, solutions and action plans
- Coordinate the delivery of IT solutions
- Analyze data, conduct studies, make recommendations and write reports
- Design, configure, administer, maintain and upgrade computer networks, management systems and database servers
- Advise and assist clients and partners on incident prevention, corrective action, IT infrastructure updates, rollout and post-rollout initiatives
- Recommend solutions to improve or optimize standards, policies and programs
- Prepare recommendations, solutions and action plans based on organizational objectives and priorities
- Serve as subject matter expert for the unit, clients and partners
- Coordinate with stakeholders working in other fields to support projects and initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of four years of relevant experience
- Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Knowledge of French is required
- Extensive knowledge of the relevant line of work
- Analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems
- Interpersonal savvy and ability to coordinate with stakeholders across fields
