About the role

  • Desjardins IT analyst designing and maintaining infrastructure, systems, and database solutions. Leading complex quality assurance strategies, testing, risk analysis, and implementation recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Support IT efficiency by designing, configuring, administering, maintaining, upgrading and testing business solutions, computer networks, management systems, programs and database servers
  • Analyze and diagnose issues related to controls, quality assurance and large-scale deliveries and rollouts
  • Provide opinions in accordance with the discipline's rules and recommend solutions to improve and optimize standards, policies and programs
  • Recommend implementation plans
  • Help establish and implement multiple quality assurance strategies for business solutions in a large-scale and highly complex focus area
  • Direct and guide work to meet objectives
  • Solve highly complex problems using analytical skills and detailed understanding of the line of business and organization
  • Interact and coordinate with many stakeholders across a wide range of fields
  • Lead and serve as a systems specialist for the unit, clients and practitioners
  • Help clients define their needs and analyze and interpret data to inform decisions on IT solutions and best practices
  • Develop complex quality assurance execution strategies, determine scope, and write procedures and guidelines
  • Analyze risks; write highly complex reports and test cases; propose solutions and make recommendations
  • Serve as a specialist on implementing recommendations
  • Oversee implementation of action plans to address issues in accordance with rules and parameters
  • Represent the sector regarding quality assurance practices when dealing with Desjardins Group and non-Desjardins Group bodies

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of six years of relevant experience
  • Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Knowledge of French is required
  • Advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
