About the role

  • Desjardins IT analyst coordinating infrastructure operations, system development, and quality assurance initiatives. Supporting business solutions, risk analysis, testing, and technology standards.

Responsibilities

  • Support IT efficiency
  • Design, configure, administer, maintain, upgrade and test business solutions, computer networks, management systems, programs and database servers
  • Analyze and diagnose complex issues related to IT deliveries, rollouts, infrastructure operations, controls and quality assurance
  • Provide opinions in accordance with discipline rules and recommend solutions to improve and optimize standards, policies and programs
  • Propose implementation plans
  • Help establish and implement a quality assurance strategy for business solutions in a medium- to large-scale focus area
  • Coordinate the planning, design and execution of projects and initiatives
  • Interact with stakeholders working in other fields
  • Serve as a resource person for the unit, clients and partners
  • Coordinate development of a quality assurance strategy for targeted teams
  • Identify, input, analyze and interpret data supporting testing phases, implementation strategies, quality assurance testing, decision-making and policy/practice monitoring processes
  • Analyze risks, write reports, propose solutions, make recommendations and advise on implementation
  • Prepare and recommend action plans to address issues
  • Help develop, implement and update management policies, practices and standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of four years of relevant experience
  • Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Knowledge of French is required
  • Advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
