About the role
- Financing Analyst guiding complex business-financing analysis and recommendations at Desjardins. Coaching analysts and coordinating risk-management operations for non-retail clients.
Responsibilities
- Provide functional supervision, coordination, and coaching to an assigned group of financing analysts conducting the analysis and review of financing applications
- Participate in work planning and resource allocation for various assignments related to the financing application analysis process, and coordinate activities to ensure operational continuity
- Perform appropriate follow-ups and controls
- Analyze financing applications and prepare recommendations outlining the required financing terms, monitoring conditions, and collateral
- Communicate the analysis results and recommendations to account managers and propose alternative solutions, when appropriate
- Conduct periodic reviews of more complex financing applications
- Comply with applicable policies, practices, and standards, as well as the laws governing the distribution of financial products and services
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline
- A minimum of six years of relevant experience
- Please note that other combinations of relevant education and experience may be considered
- French-language proficiency required
