About the role

Security Office interns strengthening Desjardins Group’s cybersecurity, governance, investigations, and communications. Supporting member data protection, risk management, compliance, and organizational resilience.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the Desjardins Group Security Office’s cybersecurity, fraud prevention and information protection activities
Support operational security, risk analysis, vulnerability assessment, threat monitoring and integration of controls into IT projects
Support security governance practices and compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements
Monitor discrepancies from physical security audits and assess physical security measures and continuity plans
Develop visual reports, dashboards, performance analyses and operational monitoring tools for internal partners
Provide legal advice on personal information protection, research cybersecurity laws and regulations, analyze security clauses in contracts and assess legal compliance
Develop business analysis opinions and implementation plans, conduct preliminary research and help clients and partners manage complexity
Investigate issues, analyze information, conduct studies, write reports and support complex investigation files or projects
Develop communications action plans, raise awareness of DGSO security standards, provide training and support project delivery across Desjardins Group

Your educational institution must credit or certify your internship toward a bachelor’s degree or a master’s degree in an appropriate discipline
Relevant work/internship experience
Knowledge of French required
