About the role
- Legal affairs technician supporting Desjardins’ legal operations through research, technical analysis, documentation, and process coordination. Hybrid role based in Montréal or Lévis.
Responsibilities
- Carry out specialized technical studies, research and analysis on legal topics
- Serve as a resource person for the submission of solutions and action plans
- Provide technical support for tasks, projects and complex operational issues
- Assist legal staff with initiatives and help plan and coordinate legal activities
- Prepare and draft reports, documents, summaries and technical notes
- Follow up with practitioners and decision-making bodies as required
- Forward files in accordance with the established process
- Help practitioners follow unit standards and processes and use its tools and systems
- Research and analyze processes, information management and data processing
- Solve technically complex problems and recommend changes or adjustments to methods and procedures
Requirements
- General college diploma in a related field
- A minimum of three years of relevant experience
- Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Knowledge of French is required
- Intermediate advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
