About the role

Legal and regulatory compliance technician supporting Desjardins’ compliance framework in Lévis. Analyzing processes, producing reports, and advising on complex compliance issues.

Responsibilities

Help institute the compliance framework and enforce related rules
Help ensure officer and employee behaviours comply with the organization’s standards
Serve as technical expert and provide discipline-specific support for unit activities, initiatives and processes
Research and analyze processes, information management and data processing
Carry out specialized technical tasks, studies, research and analysis
Serve as resource person for the submission of solutions and action plans
Provide technical support for projects and complex operational issues
Ensure information quality and accuracy
Produce management reports to update recommendations, determine courses of action, monitor activities and enforce rules
Respond to complex and special requests and follow up as needed
Help clients and practitioners follow unit policies, standards and procedures and use its tools and systems

General college diploma in a related field
A minimum of three years of relevant experience
Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
Knowledge of French is required, both oral and written
Intermediate advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
