About the role

  • Product Design Strategist shaping Desjardins’ Group Insurance and Retirement digital ecosystem. Guiding product strategy, Figma prototypes, innovation, and stakeholder alignment.

Responsibilities

  • Define and evolve the future vision of the digital experience for Group Insurance and Group Retirement Savings
  • Manage and evolve the end-to-end Figma prototype representing the digital ecosystem across web and mobile
  • Maintain an integrated view of current and future experiences aligned with business priorities, product roadmaps, and strategic directions
  • Identify opportunities for innovation, experience improvement, and value creation
  • Translate user needs, client feedback, and business objectives into strategic recommendations
  • Use prototypes, user journeys, and experience artifacts for communication, alignment, planning, and strategic decision-making
  • Facilitate ideation, design thinking, and innovation workshops
  • Advise Product, Business, and Delivery teams on user experience, accessibility, user research, and UX best practices
  • Provide influential leadership across Product, Technology, UX/CX, Sales, and Operations teams
  • Present digital experience vision and value to clients, executives, and strategic stakeholders through demonstrations and end-to-end journeys
  • Support client and prospect engagements with Sales teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • A minimum of six years of experience in roles related to UX strategy, product design, product management, digital experience, service design, or related fields
  • Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Experience influencing product direction and business decisions in complex environments
  • Experience translating customer needs and business objectives into product and experience strategies
  • Strong communication skills in both French and English, both oral and written
  • Expertise in workshop facilitation and stakeholder engagement
  • Expertise in communication, with the ability to simplify complex concepts and deliver compelling strategic narratives to clients, senior executives, and large groups of stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Figma, user journey mapping, advanced prototyping, experience modelling, and design thinking methodologies
