About the role

  • Product leader shaping Desjardins Group’s product lines for members and clients. Defining roadmaps, optimizing offers, and guiding strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement and manage a line of high-performing products meeting member and client needs
  • Develop, price, improve, implement and promote products based on member, client and distribution-network needs, market trends and Desjardins Group’s target position
  • Lead and influence specialists and stakeholders on cross-sector product-development projects and complex strategic initiatives
  • Make recommendations on strategic initiatives with high operational and conceptual complexity
  • Develop and recommend business directions and positions for assigned products
  • Identify and implement improvements to the product offer based on member and client needs, business priorities and market developments
  • Define an innovative target vision and create the mid- to long-term product roadmap aligned with strategic priorities
  • Monitor competition and market developments, identify opportunities, anticipate business impacts, and establish and implement strategies
  • Provide leadership in defining product direction and represent the target client experience for value-added services
  • Monitor commercial results and financial performance to optimize the product offer
  • Manage operational, reputational and financial risks and develop recommendations for business positions
  • Establish frameworks ensuring compliance with laws and regulations
  • Represent the team’s position to decision-making bodies, senior management, partners and external organizations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of eight years of relevant experience
  • Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Knowledge of French is required
  • Advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
