About the role

  • Product leader shaping Desjardins financial products for members and clients. Defining product strategy, roadmaps, market positioning, performance, and compliance in a hybrid role.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement and manage a line of high-performing products meeting member and client needs
  • Develop, price, improve, implement and promote products based on member, client and distribution-network needs and market trends
  • Lead and influence specialists and stakeholders on cross-sector product development projects and complex strategic initiatives
  • Recommend the development and execution of highly complex strategic initiatives
  • Develop and recommend business directions and positions for assigned products
  • Identify and implement improvements to the product offer based on member and client needs, business priorities and market developments
  • Define an innovative target vision and create the mid- to long-term product roadmap
  • Monitor competition and market developments, identify opportunities, anticipate impacts, and implement strategies
  • Define product directions and represent the target client experience for value-added services
  • Monitor commercial results and financial performance and optimize the product offer
  • Manage operational, reputational and financial risks associated with the product offer
  • Establish compliance frameworks for laws and regulations and advise decision-making bodies
  • Represent the team’s position to decision-making bodies, senior management, partners and external organizations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of six years of relevant experience
  • Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Knowledge of French is required
