About the role
- Product Owner shaping financial products and client experiences at Desjardins Group, North America's largest cooperative financial group. Managing backlogs, strategic projects, stakeholders, and product owners.
Responsibilities
- Represent the voice of the client in projects and be responsible for the member/client experience
- Prepare a range of products and services to ensure a positive member/client experience
- Collaborate with the project developer and business analyst to ensure solutions meet user needs and expected project benefits are delivered
- Manage relationships with project stakeholders
- Lead interactions with squads and stakeholders involved in planning, feasibility, development projects, and strategic initiatives
- Make recommendations on the development and delivery of complex files and projects impacting business sectors
- Establish product backlogs for projects, mandates, and development activities
- Advise and assist clients and partners with positioning, planning, development, performance, and follow-up of strategic projects and mandates
- Oversee the development and updating of policies, standards, models, and programs
- Identify and analyze major problems and issues, develop diagnostics, and make recommendations
- Coach other product owners
- Represent the unit in dealings with decision-making bodies
- Represent Desjardins Group’s position when reaching agreements with partners and external organizations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of six years of relevant experience
- Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Knowledge of French is required
