Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performance architecture team by establishing priorities, performance goals, and development plans
Lead architecture governance activities, including architecture reviews and approvals
Identify architectural risks, inefficiencies, technical debt, and improvement opportunities
Drive technology standardization, rationalization, and modernization
Build and evolve enterprise architecture capabilities, principles, standards, frameworks, and governance processes
Develop and maintain current-state and target-state architectures and roadmaps
Align technology investments and transformation initiatives with business strategy and measurable value
Collaborate with business and technology leaders to translate strategic priorities into architectural directions
Collaborate with architecture, technology, security, and governance stakeholders to maximize shared capabilities and services
Provide architectural leadership across applications, data, integration, infrastructure, cloud, and security
Review solutions to ensure they are secure, scalable, resilient, and aligned with enterprise standards
Drive transformation and modernization initiatives by evaluating emerging technologies and promoting innovation, automation, operational excellence, and data-driven decision-making
Act as a trusted advisor to senior management
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
A minimum of eight years of relevant experience, including three years in management
Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
Master's degree in a related field
Experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, or technology leadership roles
Experience leading architecture or technology teams
Experience developing enterprise architecture strategies, frameworks, roadmaps, and governance
Experience leading technology transformation and modernization initiatives
TOGAF®, Cloud Architecture Certifications (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud), CISSP, ITIL, SAFe, or related certifications
Strong communication skills in both French and English, both oral and written
Advanced knowledge of application, data, integration, infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, and governance practices
Available for travel to offices in Ontario and Quebec
