About the role

Senior security advisor strengthening Desjardins's financial cooperative security posture. Leading complex security initiatives, governance, policies and strategic advisory work.

Responsibilities

Lead large-scale development projects, initiatives and activities in the area of expertise with significant organization-wide impact
Identify, develop and recommend security strategic directions balancing business needs, requirements and best practices
Advise clients and partners on positioning, planning, development, execution and monitoring of strategic projects and initiatives
Identify, analyze, report and diagnose major issues and recommend solutions to decision-making bodies
Develop and update policies, standards, models and programs supporting strategic projects and initiatives
Offer security programs to internal employees to promote the organization's culture of ethics and compliance
Represent the unit before senior management committees and decision-making bodies
Represent and negotiate on behalf of Desjardins and enter the organization into agreements with external partners and organizations
Develop and optimize security measures aligned with corporate objectives
Help develop the Desjardins Group Security Office's priorities and governance
Serve as expert advisor, subject matter expert, resource person and coach for senior management and decision-making bodies
