About the role
- Senior security advisor strengthening Desjardins's financial cooperative security posture. Leading complex security initiatives, governance, policies and enterprise-wide risk solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize security measures aligned with corporate objectives
- Plan, implement and oversee security best practices to strengthen Desjardins's security posture
- Help develop the Desjardins Group Security Office's priorities and governance
- Lead practitioners on development projects and innovative, complex strategic security initiatives
- Lead large-scale development projects, initiatives and activities in the specialty area
- Design, update, implement and monitor complex action plans, programs, solutions and tools
- Advise clients and partners on strategic projects and initiatives
- Identify, analyze, report and diagnose major issues and recommend solutions to decision-making bodies
- Develop and update policies, standards, models and programs
- Represent the unit to decision-making bodies for agreements with external partners and organizations
- Serve as a specialist advisor, subject matter expert, resource person and coach for decision-making bodies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of six years of relevant experience
- Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Knowledge of French is required
- Action oriented
