About the role

  • Desjardins team leader coordinating management-support activities, strategic positions and complex initiatives. Coaching experienced professionals, managing budgets and influencing senior decision-making for North America’s largest cooperative financial group.

Responsibilities

  • Support team management
  • Coordinate the unit’s activities, action plans and initiatives
  • Coach and guide a team composed primarily of highly experienced professionals
  • Assign tasks and activities and regularly monitor progress
  • Support talent development and employee engagement
  • Identify, develop and recommend strategic directions and business positions
  • Help determine the unit’s service offer and ensure projects and activities are planned and executed
  • Meet targets on time and on budget
  • Manage results, performance, quality and client/partner satisfaction
  • Develop training and skills development strategies and action plans for team members
  • Help resolve complaints and problems in accordance with the organization’s practices
  • Play a non-decision-making role in hiring, performance management, discipline and skills development
  • Manage the budget
  • Lead and influence senior management and decision-making bodies
  • Interact with stakeholders working in a wide range of other fields

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of eight years of relevant experience
  • Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Knowledge of French is required
  • Extensive knowledge of the relevant field
  • Ability to develop business positions and influence senior management and decision-making bodies
  • Ability to manage individual performance, budgets, results, quality and client/partner satisfaction
